Knight of the Month For January 2008
Please congratulate our Brother
Joseph D'Angelo
The Council is made up of many special members who in their own way and place contribute their time, talents and treasure to our many charitable efforts and events. A great example of such a member is Joseph D'Angelo and his super cooking efforts during our annual Super Bowl Party. While over the years some of his former cooking crew has “got out of the kitchen” Joe continues to generously share his culinary skills and talents with the Council every Super Bowl Sunday. Joe is a kind, soft-spoken individual who makes the daunting task of feeding a hungry football crowd look effortless. Joe is a member who gives of himself in order to help others. We can all learn a lesson in fraternity by the example of Joe D'Angelo. Congratulations, Joe and thank you again for your efforts.
The LaMagna family is a generous faith-filled family that regularly and without any sort of prodding gives whatever efforts are needed to get the job done. Sal and his lovely wife Melissa volunteer in multiple parish and school organizations including: the Parents Club, School Board, the Development Committee, the Parish Family Festival Committee, to name just a few. Sal and Melissa not only give of their time but are very generous with their personal resources and talents. Sal can always be counted on to donate to the Council some bottled spirits that Melissa always fashions into an attractive gift basket for many of our raffle prizes. Sal and Melissa are the proud parents of Ashley and Emily who are in many ways just as kind and generous as their parents. The Council and parish are blessed by the efforts of the LaMagna Family. Congratulations and thank you for all that you do.
